Sam Crain is one of our favorite breakfast regulars. He always has a wry word for everyone. Unfortunately, he won't be in to the Cafe for a few weeks while he's being treated for a serious illness out of town. We know that his absence will be harder on him than on us, so we put together this journal to remind him of what's gong on at home. It's about his alter ego, an old pair of running shoes. The shoes are still sore at him for dragging them through an ultra-marathon in the Colorado desert this summer.

So, without further adieu, we bring you

We've got some exciting music lined up for tomorrow night - a gentleman named Paul Christopher Kozlowski whom has traveled the world and done some very impressive things (read his bio for more).

2010 has been a very exciting year for us. Our 'little' location in Harbor Town opened in January, and it's been a hit. Here in Midtown, we've experienced a couple of changes - a new bakery manager and chef have introduced a new, fresh approach to our already-fantastic menu - and we have more excitement on the way.

We're extremely happy to have you along for the ride, and will continue to bring you, our community, great food and a wonderful place to spend some time.
